In terms of infrastructure, Meilan Airport operates two terminals—T1 and T2—covering nearly 450,000 square meters. Terminal T2 incorporates advanced commercial management concepts from Singapore's Changi Airport, creating a “garden airport” experience that integrates shopping and leisure, and houses China's largest airport duty-free zone for departing passengers. The airport currently operates 47 international and regional routes to 28 overseas cities, including London, Tokyo, and Sydney, with a global route network.
